Before Mid-January 2021, the last time I did anything music-related was playing the recorder when I was 7, in 2001. On a whim, I decided to buy a Novation Launchkey Mini Keyboard and learn how to make a beat. It was the most fun I'd had in months. This album is the final result.

Lo-Fi Beats to Learn How to Make Lo-Fi Beats To is 21 minutes of me slowly coming to grips with the music-making process. The tracks are ordered from first-made to last, and as a result, you can hear the journey of my steadily improving skill-set, from the tentative beginnings, the frustrating middles, and the final track, a culmination of everything I came to learn.

I'm a writer by trade - you can tell because I can't shut the hell up writing this album description - but I hope you enjoy these little mixes. And if things go well, I'll make even more in the future!
