Ace of Hearts is an album about love. Familial, friendly, platonic, romantic, pretty much any kind of love you can think of.

This project was conceived in the midst of my usual December depression, so you can probably catch hints of that in here. It's a very wintery selection of tracks. I almost didn't finish it, but I was 8 tracks in when I wanted to throw in the towel, and I didn't want the work to go to waste. So, here you go.

Thinking about love makes my stomach lurch. I have mixed feelings on the whole concept if I'm being honest. I've thought myself incapable of giving and receiving it. This album was my attempt at reconciling my feelings about love as a concept. I don't know if I came up with an answer. I don't know if I ever will.
